International Women’s Day Celebration 2023

To celebrate International Women’s Day this year, the Women Academics Sub-Committee organized a themed seminar: “Women in Leadership: Inspire, Influence & Innovate” on May 11, featuring the Pro-Vice-Chancellors cum Co-Chairpersons of the Sub-Committee Professor Sham Mai-har and Professor Anthony T.C. Chan, Professor Pang Laikwan (Faculty of Arts), Professor Grace LH Wong (Faculty of Medicine), Professor Lu Yi-Chun (Faculty of Engineering), Professor Ip Pak Kan Jacque (Faculty of Medicine) and Professor Choi Susanne Yuk-ping (moderator/ Faculty of Social Science). The seminar was well-received by CUHK staff and students, both male and female, and discussed the influence of women in leadership, how to inspire women in advancing into leadership positions and the way of innovating into a new era with more women leaders.
